Description
The Take It Easy sweater is a basic sweater that can be worn for many different occasions. It features dropped shoulder balloon sleeves and a folded neckband. The pattern uses only the most basic stitches, making this the perfect project for adventurous beginners. The Take It Easy sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up and then separated at the sleeves to work front and back separately. The sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armhole.

MATERIALS
Needles:
5 mm circular needle (US size 8, UK size 6) or other needle size that matches gauge. I recommend using an 80 cm or 100 cm circular needle for the body, depending on the size you’re knitting. The sleeves can be worked on a 40 cm circular needle, but DPNs or the magic loop method may be easier for the smaller sizes.
4 mm 60 cm circular needle (US size 6, UK size 8) for the neck ribbing, and 4 mm DPNs or circular needle for the sleeve ribbing. You can use DPNs or the magic loop method with a longer circular needle.
Yarn:
Yarn and Colors Baby Fabulous, 45% cotton & 55% acrylic, 50g/102m/111yd
10, (11, 12, 13) (15, 16, 17) (19, 20) balls
Other tools:
Darning needle, scissors, stitch markers, measuring tape, scrap yarn OR extra cable
GAUGE
20 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles.
